Route Detail
a little more info on the route.
The 3 stages in Hamsterley feature around 3 miles of road not used last year of which about 1.5 have not been used since the 80's. As last year however we have aimed to maximise the use of as many roads as possible. A short loop we wanted to use is now being logged so we have avoided that. Stang is undergoing regrading and looks in mint condition. Once again we will run that at 30 seconds
As for the road section out of stang - we are NOT using the poor bit of forest track this year nor are we using the rock part of Barnigham white uphill. Not going to give any more away at the moment.
Pattersons are recceing late this week on thier way back home from the recce for the Plains.

Hi folks
Road book is completed, Dave is on with the maps and they are nearly completed.
We have over 31 entries to date and more to come- however we need your support to make the event happen.
There are a large contingent of Marshals coming all the way from Mull to run a stage.
Camping is available as last year albeit not in the Glaxo car park at the Moorcock Inn, Eggleston.
